The bulk of recent modifications that were proposed by the user group last year are now complete and MIS hope to release the 'V2' of headway towards the end of the year.
future developments/roadmap:
MIS have recently been evaluating our current products and technologies, and have wanted to move to the .Net platform for some time now and hope that the oppurtunity will arise to begin this transition early 2010.
We are also looking to expand on the current products we offer, however we have not confirmed any specific areas as yet.
Consideration to move to a web based set of applications is being discussed internally, however we are currently investigating particular functionality, for example word integration, as there are some issues with these applications and using them in a web environment.
We are also considering adding facilities that allow the whole user base to communicate with each other and MIS from within the software enabling individuals to share knowledge and allowing users to be kept up-to-date with the facilites the MIS systems have to offer as a result of any updates or developments.
